Baseball 2012

Here is Carson playing baseball this year.  He is pitching.  He needs a little more practice, but he is doing really well.  We are so proud of him.  I will post more pictures as we play more games.

Easter Weekend at the Dunes

Chase is taking Carson and a friend for a ride.  Chase is in the front, friend in the middle and Carson on the back.  Carson got the Mohawk for his helmet for Christmas.  He was very excited to put it on his helmet and wear it.
And once again here is Carson flirting with the girls!  He is taking his friend for a ride ;)
Here is Carson, I think this is when we were at Sand Mountain watching people go up and down.
This is Carson giving loves to our neighbors dog. He is an animal lover. I love this picture of him smiling.
Running down the hills at the Dunes.  We end up with sand everywhere.

Stitches

At the end of February Carson was riding his friends bike and he got going too fast.  The chain came off and down he went.  He hit his chin on a rock in the road.  In this first picture he has a numbing cream on his chin.
In this second picture they are irrigating the wound to clean it out.  There were a couple of tiny pieces of rock that had to be taken out by the doctor with a pair of tweezers.  He must have hit hard.

Close up view, right after being irrigated.  As you can see he wasn't too upset.  When it first happened he came in the house screaming.  When I wiped it off I couldn't tell if the white piece I could see was tissue stuck to the skin or if it was cut badly enough that he would need stitches.
He ended up with 2 stitches. The nurses were teasing him about being cool for his girlfriend.  He just smiled and said "yep."  He is quite the ladies man.  He always has a girl that he likes.
This is getting the stitches removed. Yeah!!

Christmas 2011

The top 2 pictures are from Christmas at my mom's house.  She gave him the RC Hummer and the picture on the left is 2 dollar bills rolled up that my aunt gave him.

This is Christmas morning.  Of course Carson got a bunch of Steelers stuff.  He wanted an iPod touch, but Santa told him that he needed to be a little bit older.  The Steelers trip/game was part of Christmas and an iPod touch was a little too much $$.  He was thrilled with what he got.  He is a good boy!

San Fransisco Trip

We went on a trip to San Fransisco the week before Christmas.  We had tickets to the Steelers - 49ers game.  We were only in San Fransisco about 2 1/2 days, but we packed a lot into those few days.  We went to one of the piers and looked at the boats.   There was jellyfish in the water and we scooped some of them out and looked at them up close.  In the water they just kind of looked like cotton balls.  When we took them out they were clear.

We went to Muir Woods, a little redwood forest about 45 minutes from San Fransisco.

This is us at the Golden Gate Bridge.  We visited the aquarium at pier 39 and saw some really cool fish.  Another really neat thing that we got to watch was the sea lions at pier 39.  They have docks for them to lay on and they would play king of the dock and push each other off.

And finally we went to the game.  The Steelers lost, bummer.  The power went out twice while we were there, which was very interesting.  Dave took Carson to the bathroom and there were some rowdy fans about to go to blows and using horrible language.  He said he had to get out of there as fast as possible.  We had a lot of fun, although I'm not sure that I would go somewhere that close to Christmas again.  We missed out on a lot and then when we got home it was a struggle to get caught up with getting ready for Christmas.

Baptism!!!

Carson got baptized on Saturday September 3rd 2011.  After he came up from the water he said "That felt good!"  Then when he got to the top of the stairs he wanted to do a cannonball into the font.  He cracks me up.

Baseball 2011

Carson did really good hitting this year :)

Carson was the catcher a lot of the time he didn't let many balls get past him!

He played short stop most of the time that he was in the field.
